Default New 650 V2

I'm brand new to the forum. Will be giving up my custom Roadstar Warrior to join the "off road" world. (can't afford both) Was happy to find this forum. I've spent a lot of hours on the rswarrior.com forum (and it's cost me a lot of monsy too). Chose the Arctic Cat 650 V2. I've got about 100 miles on it so far and am very pleased, however just like the Warrior which I have over $18,000.00 invested in, I'm always looking to get a little more out of it. Was wondering what some of the most common mods for the V2 are. What gives the most bang for the buck? Also where to get the best deals on performance parts such as K&N Filter, plugs, wires, ect. Thanks and I look forward to being a part of your forum.

Look at my pics for tires and what not. I would get a dynatek cdi, which is cheapest on Ebay, for about 170-180 bucks. Go to www.clubplug.net for NGK racing power wires. Part number is CR1, and you need 2 of them. I also bought iridium plugs which i am pleased with. I got the K&N filter right from K&N. My tires and rims are from www.traxmotorsports.com I also switched my front and rear differentials to Amsoil 80-90 synthetic oil, and my motor oil to Amsoil 0-40 synthetic fourstroke oil, and my oil filter to Amsoil, which part number is EAOM103. I also run Engine Ice radiator fluid, for a cooler run. I got my shock covers, and Venom winch off Ebay also.

What after market belt did you buy? Arctic Cats belts are about the best you can get. I have about 1100 miles on mine with no wear visible yet

Speedwerx has a clutch kit, and many other parts for your V2.

If you count only perfomance mods on my 650V2 its only like $300.00. That inlcudes Dynatek CDI, K&N air filter, 2" hidden snorkels, and clutch springs, not big money. The wheels and tires cost me about $600 at the dealer when I bought my machine, I did not want any complaints from the service department about oversized tire over the course of the three year warantee. The rear seat cost $200, but thats about it. Excluding the perfomance Mods my machine completely the way it sits cost me $7,000.

You have to do the Dynatek as it really wakes the machine up and you never have to worry about the belt reset or the reverse limiter.

sammydogs64, You need to get some fender protectors from QuadBoss. They have foot pegs for that back seat. I have them on both my quads. See pic #6 in my pictures.

The mods cost $7000 or the bike AND mods totaled $7000?
