VOLTS
This flashed repeadedly while i was running STABIL into my machine. It is really cold, and i poured some into the gas tank, and started it. It died, i started it. It died again, (from being cold) and as i started it again, the dash went dark, and it flashed VOLT. I shut it off, and restarted it, and it was normal again. Anything to worry about? Mabey a cold cranking better battery would fix it? Its never happened before

I had this same warning once after using my winch. When your batter gets below 9 volts, it causes this message to appear. Once your battery returns to the normal level, you can reset the warning by turn your atv off and restarting it. It sounds like when you were starting your atv, the battery level dropped and you go the message and then when you restarted it you reset. Honestly, in my non-professional opinion, I wouldn't worry about it.....unless you can't start you quad. Yes, I am a captain of the obvious.

Don't use Stabil. You can get SeaFoam at Fleet Farm for $4.88 a can. Use half of the can in your tank. It stabalizes your fuel (second to none), cleans your entire fuel systme, and improves your mileage. I use it in my snowmobiles in the spring (storage), all of my little engines (chain saw, garden tiller, lawn mower, etc) and have never had an issue. It also works liek HEET, if you ever think you have water in the tank. So, for you I would dump 1/2 a can in, and then dump a 1/4 a can in every other tank on a regular baises. If your quad sits for more then a month, then do 1/2 can again. Good luck.
