Default stepping up to the plate

Well I just brought home my 2nd arctic cat (1st one is a 06 400 auto) Today I bought the 650 v2 . I think I'm gonna like this one a lot. If anyone has any tips or tricks I would appreciate hearing them. One thing the dealer did say was arctic cat suggests if your just putting around (under 20mph) stay in low gear. Something to do with the belt.

If I'm using mine for work like mowing or pulling a small trailor, then I will use low. For trail and fun riding it's High Ho Away. GT

with the 650 v2 whenever you are going under 45 mph always use low range. and a set of good 6 ply tires will make it handle alot better. if you can afford it throw a dynatek cdi in it for that lil extra performance, which also makes it so you don't have to hit override in reverse. it advances the timing so it runs a lil cooler as well.

If you bought a 06, then riding in low is not a big deal as it is on 04 and 05 models the 06 have lower geared front and rear diffs. Low is good for real rough but high vcan be used for most normal riding.

I drive mine in low 99% of the time. It goes fast enough for most trails in low, and i have over 1100 miles on my belt with no wear. As stated, anything about 40 mph for long periods you should ride in high, but 40 and under you should ride in low
