I've had my 06 650 v2 for 31 days. Today I noticed there was moisture on the instrument pod glass. Is this a warrenty issue? Obviously it has a leak or small crack. Would the glass be replaced or the whole instrument pod ?

 

If its like most warrenties everything is covered until something tears up.Did you buy this bike brand new 31 days ago.If so then they should cover it no matter what warrenty you got.

 

Funny you ask that cause I have a 06 500i auto I purchase bran spanking new in Sept 06 and I noticed the RT front head light and the pod will build condensation. I called the dealer and of course they said it's normal...curious to see what kind of replies we get. I am going to wait till a while till something else goes wrong and then bring it in to get all the work done at the dealer. It's too far away to drive it up for that. It had not caused any problems so it is not urgent.

 

Under 6 months old those are both warantee items. Cats are known for the headlight issue, unfortunatly mine did not leak untill it was over 6 moths old so there is a deductable.
