Does anyone have any information on the 05 650 v2 gas tanks leaking. I have a strong smell of gas around the back end of the quad. I do not have any gas leaking that I can see. I do see that the protective outer shell around the gas tank has a gap with dirt in it. It seems like a bad design from the manufacturer. I am wondering if there is a leak on the bottom of the tank. It seems like you have to tear the whole back end of the atv apart to get to it.

There was a recall on the gas tanks, check with your dealer.
