Default v2 650 Blet slipping under load

Went out riding today and my new belt works great. Got stuck about 6 or 7 times, burnt my winch up. Went a total of 16 miles in 7 hours. From a full tank of gas I had to switch over to reserve the last couple miles.

Man I will tell you it was some tough going. The entire distance I was in mostly low range and close to 1/2 to full throttle, just to muster up 1 or 2 mph. Was riding in wet, grandular, heavy, slick snow. The kind that is just as slick as ice and when you give it too much torque your sink right to the frame in a matter of a second or so.... I am not going to do that trick again for some time. Power snow - no problem, sticky snow - no problem but this grandular stuff is twice as bad as sand. What I needed was some baloon tires with very little tread depth so that I would not have dug down so quickly. Got soken wet, good thing I had wool pants and wool shirt or I would have frozen my toosh... lol

completely different clutch system on the 400 buckaroo you don't have anything to worry bout. if you don't abuse it you should get like 8000 miles out of a belt. as for the v2 it is a nightmare but after installing the clutch springs i personally went with epi and well no difference between them and dahlton and removed the larger shim on the secondary clutch and used v2riders recomendations of using fine sandpaper to roughen up the clutches and the belt just a lil she grabs hard.

Sounds like your getting water in the drive belt housing. We ride rivers here and get that all the time. You need to pull the plug at the bottom of the housing and drain the water, make sure your in nutral and allow the engine to run for a few minutes.
