As for the master cylinder, would I buy a new one,or can I rebuild the old one?
Did you do it by yourself or did it take 2 people? - lol...

Just wondering if people in Georga can lift heavy things like people in Minnesota.... lol

Default Brake Question

Well,I started off with my son helping me,then next thing I know he's gone,so then I do it by myself by engaging the parking brake.

As stated earlier but did see any thing replied to it,I put DOT 3 brake fluid in it instead of DOT 4,would that make a difference?

I'll try it out this afternoon when I get home.

Default Brake Question

OK,I did do it your way,
Well,it still aint doin too good. Its way better than it was but now I have to pull the lever twice for it to do any good.Pump it,I guess thats what you call it.
It use to do that all the time after I pulled out of a mud hole, but now it does it all the time.

Master Cylinder?
Ya still have advised me on the brake fluid.

I have to pump mine once in a while too, like you say - generally after a mud or water hole. Other than that once in a while they feel a little spongy but do stop my machine. Maybe something is wrong with my brakes too, I just thought it was the way they made them. I have always pumped my brakes while heading for a turn or going down hill - habit I guess. Nothing worse than going for the brakes and not having much there - makes you pump really fast (heart as well as the brakes) - lol...
