Default fan rubbing

i just purchased 07 650h1 le and the fan rubs radiator when I load the front suspension. Has any of you guys experience this and what was done to correct it? Appreciate any feed back. Also engine knocks @ start up for about 3 seconds like slow oil pick up.

I don't have the fan rubbing problem but I never have really loaded the front. But I have the same start-up knock.

One of Ford's 351 cid did the same knock at start up. Come to find out it was piston slap. They tore engines down and compared them with ones that didn't knock and found no abnormal wear or other problems.

Not saying this is what it is and I certainly would keep an eye on it and would have it checked out. But if it is piston slap then there is a good chance that it would not cause abnormal wear.

Can't help you with the fan thing - maybe something is loose or maybe something is being stressed with the weight and bending. (assuming that you mean put something heavy on the front - "load the front suspension" or do you mean making the suspension stiff with the 'pre-loads').
