07 arctic cat 500 Fouling plugs
I have a 07 Cat 500 with 25 miles on it. and it fouled out 2 plugs already. It will run fine for a little while then it will start running like crap. then it fouls the plug and it cant be started. Does anybody know what maybe causing this. And may be some good carb adjustment settings? Any thing would be great.
THANKS

I just bought one 6 weeks ago. It was set up too rich. It wasn't fouling the plug but it was leaving the plug black. The mixture adjustment is in the front of the carb (towards the cylinder). It's hard to see but the screw is inside the casting about the centerline of the carb. The screw driver (slot) will be pointing straight up when you adjust it. Turn it clockwise 1/8 turn at a time (turn the screw in) If yours is that rich maybe start with a 1/4 turn and then go to 1/8 turn until the plug insulator around the center elctode is brown. If the choke is stuck, this won't help so keep track of where you started. hope this helps.

THANKS Guys ! I just sent it in to the dealer today its still under warrenty. I'll see what they have to say. I usually dont have good luck with the dealer. they acually gave me a song and dance about running it to slow and babying it. Which is not the case at all.

Where do you live? If you are over 3000 feet above sea level then you may need to change the jet. You would get a rich mixture with the stock jetting.
