I've got an '00 AC 500 4x4 Auto with a bad bottom end. Found a few parts online and a complete trans/cases from an 00 Suzuki Quadmaster 500. From the photos it looks to be the same motor. Anyone have one of these to verify this? Or that these motors and their parts are interchangeable... Local dealer was no help regarding fitment info. They said that the frame mounting points might be different - even though the motors are both built by Suzuki.

I also tried to check some online microfiches for the parts but of course the AC parts have AC numbers & the Suzuki parts have Suz numbers. The phtos look the same though.

Also wondering if the Suzuki motors are labelled with a specific serial number or model number that I should be looking for.
