I have an 04 AC 650 Vtwin that has had the rear master cylinder replaced twice and it is out again. It stops just fine using the hand brake but it would be nice to use the foot brake too. Has anyone else had this problem? Is this a design flaw? At $300 a pop, this is starting to get real old, real fast.

 

Yep, I just now had this problem with one of my '04 400's. The rear brake quit working. I've had it in the shop for over a week now (not an A/C shop) and the guy says Arctic Cat doesn't make a rebuild kit for these things. We're going to try to cob something up before I shell out over $200 for a new master. And yours has gone out twice? Jeez. What's up with A/C not having a rebuild kit? I'm off to Napa with the needed cups to see if they can match it up.
