I just bought an 08 650 h1 and it tops out at 54, will it get any faster when it breaks in?

Yes. Are you going to race it?

No, but I was told by my dealer it would do 75 and I feel ripped off.

It will NOT do 75. Sorry. If speed is what your after, get a sport quad, or a Thundercat. The H1 is an awesome machine that will go through and over about anything. My V2 does about 70-72 mph, but they were discontinued in 2006.

27's on mine and they actually measure @ 27 3/4. Great for the mud & sand but not so good for top end & racing.
Hey V2== that 680 batt fit good ? My oem batt is small. only 5 mo's old and still kicking but making my X-mas list now. lol..

Mine is computer limited to 54 and I still have plenty more throttle left. So it would probably still pull to the limiter with bigger tires.

57 is the tops I have seen on my H1. It'll never do 60 let alone 75...
