I am working on a 2005 400 4x4 and am having trouble with it going from an idle to wide open. Then you give full throttle it starts spitting and sputtering. It reminds me of the rev limiter I have on my raptor but just wanted to check before I replace it and see if anyone else has ran into this problem. Any help would be appreciated. I have pulled off the carb and cleaned but still have the problem.

 

is it sputtering at WOT? or is it around 1/4?

 

Anytime you give it throttle it starts acting up.

 

is this the reason you were fixing the quad or did this happen after you fixed something else?
