Default cdi interchange

well i determined my cdi is bad for my 2001 250 2wd ac was wondering if anyone new if a 2002 300 2wd ac cdi would work, they look identical, the numbers are different though mine are 32900-19b50,
the 2002 is 32900-19b40, I would ask the local dealer but those guys are !@#holes...thanks...

I realize this is an old thread, but I am in the same situation and was wondering if you found out if the 32900-19b40 is interchangeable with the 32900-19b50. Thanks.

Default cdi

I never found out either, I went and bought a new one, right after i bought and installed it, then the very same night on ebay one sold for 32 dollars, that really sucked, as i spent 252 on the new one...cant remember where i ordered it from but it was way cheaper than the dealer, I know this doesnt help much but good luck...

Thanks, they are pretty pricey. The cheapest I have found is $209 new, can't find a used one.
