Default fan problem

i have a 2001 AC 500 4x4 auto. does this year cat have a fan switch to turn it on when it gets hot and off after it's cooled. i can find the temp switch on the side of the motor but can't seem to find a fan switch.

There isn't a switch to manually turn the cooling fan on and off , the fan cycles on when the thermostadt/sensor turns the fan on and off the same way that an autombile thats has an electric cooling fan ;i know of a few people wiring a toggle switch on their quads so they could turn the fan on and off manually .

Default fan problem

talked to the local AC dealer today...he said that my model and year had the fan wired directly to the switch so it runs all the time...the fan motor that is.

My 2006 Arctic Cat 400 FIS Auto 4x4 is the first Cat that i've owned , on the 86' Honda TRX350FM 4x4 the cooling fan was activated by a heat sensor just like my AC 400 as all of the newer AC lineup has ; so that is what i thought all of the earlier AC models were same ( my bad ) on this one !...........
