I am not too familiar with the AC90 machines. I have seen them in the show room and that is about it. That being said, from my experiences working on larger quads I would have lean towards two things.

One, something in starter motor heats up while riding and binds up not allowing it to work properly.

Two, an electrical component or wire is heating up and breaking a connection in the ignition some place not allowing the starter to get juice.

I am not sure if it has a pull start but if it does and the starter does not work will it pull start? AND I am assuming that if it sits for a time (not over night) and cools off the starter will work again?

thanks for your post and yes, it does have a kick start. usually on your first good kick it starts right up. and after about 3 hours or so, it starts up great. My dad thinks its just wearing out, but I have a feeling that its something else..

Could be wearing out how old is it?

Could also be dirty connections at the battery. Or what I mentioned previously.

its a 2007 so I wouldn't think it would be wearing out yet...
