Default 06, 400 Artic Cat automatic 4x4 will not engage

I have a 2006 Arctic Cat 400 automatic 4X4 that the 4 Wheel drive will not engage but when I hit the switch it says it is in 4 wheel drive on the screen but there is no whirling sound. i have had it off the ground and tested to be sure and the front wheels are not moving. when the switch and 4wheel drive indicator on the display says it is engaged but still no luck. . Is it the actuator or something else?. Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Likely the actuator. Remove it and take it apart to see if water and mud are getting in there. If so, clean it up and seal the housing with silicone when you put it back together.
Hopefully it still works.

check and see if you are geting voltage to the plug that goes to actuator. if you are that it is the actuator. if not you could have a bad switch or a fuse or relay under seat.
