Default Did I buy a lemon

Bought a 2008 arctic cat 400 this week. Brought home, wouldn't start, used pull cord and it started. Thought battery was just dead because guy told me it was new. So I charged all day Tuesday. It started up fine Tuesday night perfect. Tried to start weds night and it wouldn't. Put on charger and it said it was dead. The display blinks VOLT. Do I just have a bad battery? Or did I buy a lemon.

I would guess that you just have a bad battery...about 50 bucks and you should be back in business. A battery tender is a great product too!

I would take it to your dealer to get the battery warrenty it has 30 days on battery. dead battery is because dealer sets it up and then it sits until somebody buys it.

^^^ditto, if you bought it new.

Also, you might have problems with your charging system.

LOL its a leamon over a bad battery you can buy for $40 at Wal Mart and install in 10 minutes?

When I bought my ATV,I knew the battery was dead and needed replaced,I rode it for the first 3 weeks with the dead battery before bothering to replace the battery.

You can buy a new 400 off of the show room floor with a good battery for a extra $2000, but $2000 can buy alot of batteries.
