my quad will start and will run until the engine revs up then it shuts down then you have to wait for a while and it will start again. any suggestions

 

sounds to me like it is either going into limp mode or else the more likely culprit is that the carberators need to be cleaned. i did mine myself on my 04 650 and it just took me some time but it ran like a champ afterwards.
