Searching for manual for 1989 300 Artic Cat 300
#1
Been typing my fingers raw looking for 3 hours to find a service manual for an 89 300 Cat 4x4. Not the hot rod racer, just the plain jane 4 stroker. I just junked my shaft drive to the front wheels. Bought it on Sunday broke it on Monday. Need guidance here fellas. Also dont even try Mentioning K&T outdoor Parts their links GNDN go nowhere do nothin.

I bet you are having a hard time finding one because they didn't make a 300 in 1989. If I recall, it wasn't until 1995 that their first one came out.

The 300 is apparently a 98 not 89. These things are never registered or licensed here so some time or other during its life its age got confused. Yes no doubt somewhere on the frame there should be a tag with the date.
The search for a manual should be much easier now you cleared up the confusion.THANKS

ArcticChat.com - Arctic Cat Forum has a lot of manuals. Just head to the ATV section and so some searches. Good luck.
And you just got a machine that is 9 years newer then you though!

If you can,t find a manual and want one for your motor at least, a Suzuki 300 KQ(Any Year) manual will work since the 300 Arctic Cat uses the same Suzuki built 280cc, SOHC, four-stroke, single cylinder motor that has been around for years unchanged.
Heres proof 1999 Suzuki King Quad ATVs
I think they have the same tranny also.

Or I just found out you can develop Dyslexia in your early 60's. Yes its a 98 not an 89. Thanks for the set right.
