My quad is up and running very well now,
by pin pointing an issue with the needle and main after all I have tried, including many shims on the needle I decided to clean and reinstall the old needle and main to see if it would help and it started and ran great. The needle in the rebuild kit was brass and the original needle was stainless and thats the only difference.

Quadfussion I had an 2000 400 arctic cat I have problems with hard acceleration would backfire and stumble bad in 3rd gear,I put clip in needle jet in 5 th notch and drill main jet [was150] to .005 oversized an bingo ran like an raped ape......Just touching base with everyone here....
