those features mean nothing to me
it is for plowing my driveway & hunting not trail riding & for the price difference this was a way better deal

The AC300 doesent have differential lock from the factory. The front differential has the capability to lock as you know, but you have to mod the 4wd actuator to make it functional.

Yeah the driveline is identical minus the cv's and possibly the front driveshaft. I had a quadrunner 250 the same time my father in law had the AC 300. The key switch was the same as the Zuki' too, as well as a few other things including the air box.

It's weird that the cat has the same differential as the Suzuki, but arctic cat simply chose not to utilize the locking function. Not a good move IMO since the expensive part is already there.

You know I miss most the features my Suzuki had. Mainly the front differential lock, selectable 4wd and the 3 sub transmission ranges. I like my big bear but it really stinks to not have those things on it. The Suzuki would cruise at 40 pretty comfortably in high range. Low was great for general work and trail riding, and then if you needed to do some hard work you could throw it into super low The big bear is so low geared it sounds like its going to fly apart at 40mph. Lol. For general trail riding it's not really too noticeable though.

We have a 300KQ in our fishing /Hunting group. When its in its tank mode,(utra low with diff lock engaged) it could out pull or push bigger ATVs like my 450 Foreman.
