i did'nt get a chance yet to put my meter on battery to see if it is charging proper?
...So if regulator/rectifier has a bad diode this could cause battery to drain over nite?

I am not familiar with arctic cats,is the rectifier/regulater in the same place as on polaris sportsman(close to top of rad on frame under front plastic) and I assume it looks pretty well the same, small black box with lots of wires
Hopefully this weekend we can use this as an excuse to spend some time in the shed, have a few wobbly pops and do some trouble shooting on it.will post back when I find out more

I've heard you can add water to some batteries. Not sure if that is problem or not.Worth a try.
