as one ATV, the Sportsman 550 X2. None of their sporty UTVs seem to
have that. Polaris may be the only ATV now with rear diff.
As for AC, the 2014 Prowler HDX 700 Limited seems to have it. All the
majors seem to be going that way for some of their utility SxS units.
Even the new Kymco 500i/700i UTV has a "Turf" rear lockable diff.

I never quite understood the "turf" mode myself
it's like putting a luggage rack on a corvette.

Maybe instead of "turf mode" it should be called "pavement mode", and instead
of "ATV" it should be "MTV", for "Most Terrain Vehicle".
ATVs without a rear diff handle very poorly on pavement. I have an old Bayou
300 with rear lockable diff, and it is amazing how much better it is on the asphalt,
versus most any other ATV. Of course, a 2WD ATV needs a locked rear end when
driving on loose dirt.

do not think it has been discontinued.
Utility ATVs are extensively used by farmers, ranchers, and folks with
acreage. I suspect that they outnumber those using them to ride trails,
crawl over rocks, or ride thru mud-bogs. Many of us with acreage have
some pavement, and/or drive the quads on private shared paved roads,
in addition to dirt/gravel roads.
It is good that of all the quads for sale today, one (and only one?) is
offered with a rear differtial.

My ATVs do lots of pavement miles in the back of my truck. I did not buy $550 Mud tires to wear them out in one season of road riding .
I have a small car with a radio and air conditioning for that.
People have enough trouble with the limited slip front diff with lockers why have it on the back as well. Now you have x2 the worries.
