Default looking at 2008 cat366

hi folks.. my frist post here
I am looking in to buy a 4x4 for snow plowing and yard work around the house and hunting.. I don't need a big machine like 500 or bigger.. I had in mind of 300 to 460. Saw one at dealer lot a 2008 cat 366 with plow and 191 miles on it.. wondering this will do the job I needed to do? does this size can do clear the snow?

Welcome to the forums.
That machine is more than enough. A neighbor has one and plows.
Never a problem with it.

If you're worried about that particular machine, I'd suggest asking the original owner.
Another thing ot check oui is:: see if that machine is made by Kymco (I think it is).
Kymco's are rock solid machines. The neighbors AC is a Kymco. Like I mentioned, he plows to no end with it.
2 neighbors with AC's (366 and a 400) and both plow hard. Both have no mechanical problems.
Hope that helps some.

I never seen a Air/oil over heat but I have seen more then a few Ligiud cools boil over and over heat.

On a complicated water cooled everything has to be right on to work. like water pump, tight hoses, thermostat, fan, clean rad, fan switch and water level.

On a Air/oil its bullet proof. Just keep motor oil level up and go . Even if the fan on the oil cooler dies the oil cooler still does it job by re routing the oil.
My 1989 350 Air/Oil Yamaha Big Bear is still going and never over heated and its oil cooler does not even have the fan assist.

My friend's has a Big Bore 500 Honda Foreman air/oil and I never seen that over heat.

My 250 Yamaha Moto4 never over heated and it did not even have a oil cooler.

Here is some owner reviews on that ATV, it seems to be all over the board. http://www.atvreviewnetwork.com/enth....asp?veh=54342 Its a 5 star rating system. Lot s of hits and misses by the looks of it.

Compared to 350 Grizzly Reviews for example.http://www.atvreviewnetwork.com/enth....asp?veh=38287 Buy right and buy once I say.
Lots of 350 Grizzly/Bruins out there for sale cheap.

Thanks fo your input.. I can see acrtic cat got a mix bag in the reviews. In my area where I live ( sullivan county NY) its hard to find a used grizzly 350. I will take my chance on this one.If this gives me the headaches like the reviews.. I will trade it for the grizzly
