Hi cats I just bought a nice used 06 400 4x4. I get how to shift my ?s this on the right side is it the break? When I got it home the linkage on the right side had no pin in it. I put one in rode it shifted to 4th cruising to a corner I tapped the right side and it down shifted. To the proper gear. Now I dnt know what's up with that can someone help please? It's a 5 speed fis. And I love it!

 

Thats probably why the pin was removed. the previous owner did not like that feature. Im assuming it is designed to downshift when using foot brake to take advantage of engine braking. If its in the wrong gear then engine braking will be useless. neet little feature
