You should mention what year it is, but, if fuel is leaking out of the overflow, the float is not shutting it off. Mine has a Keihin CVK 34, imho, an excellent, long lasting carburetor. If the float is set too low, it will just keep gas coming in, too high. it won't let in enough. So, there is a little needle valve with a viton (sort of rubber/plastic) that either shuts off the flow or lets it in. This is common to all sorts of carburetors, not just the CVT's. It's not as complicated as you might think. When you have it apart, carefully move the float with your fingers, you can see how it works. I believe the correct height is 17 mm. Perhaps there is a youtube video that explains it. Always turn the fuel off when you trailer it, btw. I suspect, even a properly set up carb might leak a tiny bit, if you ride on rough terrain at slow speed, normal, better to slightly overflow than dump it into the motor. Relax, think of tuning a carburetor like Zen, mmmm, I think there was a book , something like that, Zen and motorcycle mechanics?
