AC 90, bogging down
I have a 2005 AC 90. Starts and idles great but after 10 sec or so with any amount of throttle it just bogs down and won’t go. If I feather the throttle you might bet it to go slightly.
Thought it could be elec choke issue, I replaced the carb, replaced battery. Cleaned filter Tried to tweak air filter screw. Nothing works.
wondering if it’s bad wiring ( so even with battery choke isn’t getting the power it needs to close )
I guess if it starts and bogs down when given throttle it’s lacking fuel? Thoughts?

Most likely lacking fuel.
Could it be a plugged or dirty petcock from the tank, Or tank vent plugged.
One thing I try to do is use a timing light to verify whether the problem is spark or not. If it is not spark, then it must be fuel right? Pretty easy to narrow it down that way.
I also suppose maybe valve lash could affect it running, it will change some when the engine gets warm.
Does it back fire through the exhaust or intake when it is acting up?
