ok so i can just chuck the one way bearing and it doesn't need it. more than likely i take it that is what is wrong with it. kind of weird it only has 1200 miles on it and never been beaten on. thats what i have my 700 mud pro with 30 inch tires and a lift kit for.

I'm remembering from a few years ago that the wildcats (?) had a service bulletin (?) out for dealers to remove them before they sold them.... Now I'm not betting the house on that info, but I've read a lot of posts concerning the 1 way bearing going bad be it 1200 miles or 120 miles doesn't matter. Regardless, IF IT's the 1way you can replace it or chuck it. Just make sure that you also check the wet clutch...

TIP.... you don't need to drain your oil to access the wet clutch.... you can tip your machine about 30degrees so all the oil lays on the side away from the wet clutch...

ok i read up on it and some people just chuck the one way bearing and they lose some of their engine braking. i need an oil change anyways so i ordered an oil change kit for the prowler and atv.

No I didn't, cleaned it up good and torqued it down. No reason it wont seal. I took out the one way bearing and it is all beat up and warped. I can spin it by hand and it is nice and smooth now.
