I'm going to replace the rollers in the primary and hope that works. When I opened up the cover after the belt came apart the primary was open and the rollers were rattling loose. They probably took a beating. A few of them have nicks and scratches but nothing drastic. I'm not sure how bad they can be scuffed up and still be OK.

Bought the belt off amazon from a private seller. I'm wondering if it's not a defective belt.

Could be a mismarked belt....there should be a deflection measurement for the belt when mounted on the clutches, this might give you a clue as to whether you have the right belt.

The package. Belt is on the machine with the cover still on. Didn't have time tonight to take the cover off.

And not to question your abilities, did you know that there is a direction arrow on the belt to make sure you put it on correctly?
Check the number on the belt when you get a chance...

Feel free to question my abilities. Lol. That's why I'm asking. I'm not a mechanic. I know a little bit, and have Google and youtube. As for your last question, yes. I put the arrow pointing toward the rear of the machine. Towards the primary. I'm beginning to wonder if it's not a wet clutch issue just by processs of elimination. I know nothing about the wet clutch at all. When it's slips it makes a squealing sound like the belt if it were slipping. 2 questions... If the wet clutch were slipping would it make a squealing sound like that, and if the wet clutch were bad could it cause the belt to slip for some reason?
