Default Fluid leaking from hose???

I started my 2000 Arctic Cat 250 4-wheeler to prepare for the spring. I adjusted the idle and it started right up. I let it run for a few minutes and then I noticed a fluid (not sure if it was gas or oil - didn’t smell like gas, but seemed too thin to be oil) flowing out of the end of a hose that terminates right beside the right foot peg. The hose has a cap on the end that has a slot in it, like it is some sort of vent hose. I tried to trace the hose back but I did not have time to remove all of the panels.

Any ideas what is going on?

At a second glance, I’m pretty sure it is oil. Hard to tell how much it is once it is spread out in the floor, but I’m going to guess about 1/2 qt when I killed the engine, but it was steadily flowing out.
