Im going to get a Winch this next week!!! Im not sure which one I should get. I see that the 2500 has a really nice switch that mounts under the on/off switch of the AC's. It really looks nice does it still come with the 6ft cord so that you can stand away while working, also how many of you guys wish you would have went with the 2500. I see they have a upgrade kit, but it looks to be cheaper just to buy the 2500 up front. The best price that I can find is 399.99 for the 2500. Anyhelp would be great.
Thanks

if you check the specs on both the 2000 and 2500, you will see they both use the same motor, just the controls are different.

The 2500 uses heavier guage wire and switches. More current can pass through and drive the motor more. Motors and cables are the same. 2500 also comes with the roller fairlead. Big plus for weird angle pulls and tugs.

I called a few of the local dealerships and they all had the same prices
Warn2000 396.99
Warn2500 469.99
And then the Warn2500 from AC is 399.99 and that also comes with the roller fairhead, it comes with a switch that mounts under the on/off switch for the AC's. But it does not come with that 6ft. control cord with the joystick. I dont think that the 6ft control cord w/ the joystick is worth $70. I think Im going to go with the AC-Warn2500.
Thanks

I bought a Warn 2500 from www.atvpartsdepot.com a little over a month ago for $349. I see now it sells there for $365. The roller fairlead is included, but the mounting plate specific for each ATV is extra. It does have a 6ft. cord and attached to the paddle switch.
