There has been alot of talk recently regarding AC wheel bearing failure and Im trying to find out the straight scoop for preventative maintenance.

What is the recommended periodic maintenance interval (time or mileage) for inspection/repack of wheel bearings both front and back?

How many bearing/s are located in the front and rear that require greasing?

I dont do any riding in deep water and have about 600 miles on my 2001 500 Manual.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

If you go in alot of water, I would recomend trying to repack your bearings when ever you change your oil. But otherwise, I would not worry about it untill you feel your wheel bearing get alittle loose.

About how many bearings there are. Well there are only 1 per side in the front hub.
