I mustsay I love the 50" moose plow. I have 10 driveways and one parking lot that I plow. Lots of money to plow snow. It did a great job and the snow fall last week was 6inches of we heavy snow. It did a great job and I cant wait for the next snowfall.
Im going to use the money that I make this winter in get a 500i or a Kawi 650.
Thanks

Did you find yourself piling up the snow to see how big of a pile your Cat could push around?

Every time I conquer a task with mine, I try to find a bigger task! I'll agree, plowing is fun, all you have to do is dress warm enough & it seems more like play than work.

Glad your plow is working out for you.

I think snow plowing is one of my favorite things to do with my quad. So far this year I've only had dry powdery snow. -30C when snowing and hasn't warmed up much yet. Quad starts with a little trouble but after it warms up it seems to like the cold, especially when pushing snow. Hope I can find as many driveways as you. Most of the time I enjoy it sooo much that I just do driveways (short ones) for free. Word does get around so maybe I can make some $$$ for some additions for the quad. TDBRPH,
It all depends on how much fun you have. I have a problem charging anything sometimes. I find it never takes as long as I think it will so don't charge too much. I even let THEM set the amount and most of the time it is more than I would charge. (don't forget i am having soooo much funnnn)

It all matters on how big the driveway is and how the driveway looks. The strait driveways are very easy, I also look on where Im going to put the snow or it i have to snowblow the piles. All of my drive ways are $35 and time and my parking lot is $50 at time. Scense most people like there driveways to be clean in a big snowfall 10inches I will plow tow times (half way thought the snowstorm) If I do it for a second time its only $20. Then at the end of the month I bill them for the last months worth of work. Its fun and a good way to make some extra drinking money.
Thanks

I am going to buy a plow for my AC to use for my driveway at home. I would like to make some extra cash with my machine, but I have a couple of concerns.

Let me ask you guys this: What about the exposure of your machines to all that road salt. Doing just my own driveway exposes the machine to minimal amounts of salt, espically if you are careful. When you have 10 or 15 customers, your machine is exposed to massive amounts of salt? (at least mine would be with the town I live in!! Do you guys take any steps to help with the road salt, and if so what?? Go to the car wash and hose it off, and its frozen solid!

let me know!!

Hey StitchZR2, I have a question regarding your S-10. Is yours ok on gas or is it pretty crappy ? My mom has a Blazer ZR2, I like it cause it is really fun off road, and seems to go through alot, but she uses for her mail route. And she can only get 160 miles to the tank from all that stop and go.. its pretty crappy.. But, on highway it doesreally good. How are the BFG Baja tires in the snow ? They look like they would do pretty good but i dont know.. Thanks for answering my questions

I will say that I love my ZR2, It does great in the snow and the mud, I have only been stuck with it 2 times, but both times I was going to get my punk brother out of the mud, he has a CJ-7. But other then that it does a great job!!! It does good on gas to, I have the 5speed and I get like 17mpg in the city and 22-24 on the freeway.
Take Care and Have a HAPPY X-MAS TO ALL
Thanks
