Dual tube rear bumper, and front??
#1
I saw a pic of a bumper that AC sells that goes on the rear. It is 2 tubes. Is anyone using it and how do you like it??
As for the front, I wonder if they make a dual tube or something for the front bumper. The single tube is a little on the wimpy side.
Has anyone else had trouble with the front end being lightly built (especially when you encounter a moving tree :-)))??
Anybody moded their front end??

I did hit a tree with my first 02 500. It bent the bumper back, busted the headlight, and pushed the winch back into the radiator. Didn't break the radiator but bent some fins and tubes. I need to do something but just haven't decide what or how yet. The new rear tube bumper looks good, but will probably wait until I decide what to do with the front.

I have the new rear bumber, it's great. My buddy made me a gas can rack that fits on and holds a two gallon can. I have bent the front bumber, from hitting one of those moving trees. I have a 4 foot length of steel pipe the fits in the bumper and does a great job of straighting it.

Reason I ask about the front end is a friend had been riding mine and ran it into a tree.
It bent the front bumper, top rack, broke the large piece of plastic under the front rack (when the front shoved in) and broke one of the headlight's.
It also bent the 2 pieces that go from the frame up to the front bumper. They are flimsy anyway.
I don't care about the bumper bending, like you say, I just straighten it. But these other pieces that break are a little more frustrating (and causes to much downtime).
All because of a careless moving tree.
