need info from owners on the proformance of the AC 500i

Well, I am in WV and trail riding here requires some serious hill climbing so just trail riding here sucks down the gas. I fill it up most of the time before I go play, but I soemtime run out most of the gas just so there will be no setteling (sp?) in the tank. I need to run my reserve down too because I have not done that yet!

I noticed when I was filling up the cat a couple of weekends ago that when the gas reaches the top of the tank its not really full yet. Just keep pouring the gas in until it just runs over. I don't mean over flowing with gas over, just a little, its not going to hurt you or the quad. You can get a few extra leters in the tank by doing this. Before I did this my tank always seemed to empty really fast and now it seems like it doesn't empty as fast. Try it. Fill it up till she can't take anymore.

Longlake,
You mentioned the backfiring problem on the 300 4x4:
<< I cured the backfiring problem on my 00 300 4*4. Apparently that is a common problem with those motors (280 Suzuki). Anyone else with that problem contact me and I will tell you how to fix it. >>
Mine does is sometimes when it's still cold/cool, but clears up once it's warm. How did you remedy it, and did yours do it all the time, or just when cold like mine. Thanks!
