Engine temp light coming on

The fuses should be right under the seat. If you aren't blowing fuses I would have to guess you have a grounding problem. check all the wires that go to ground. If I get a chance I will look at the wiring schematic and see what might cause it. check all the bulbs see which ones work and when, your rear light is probably out it should be a dual element.

Thanks a bunch guys.

Well, my rear light has changed recently. Now instead of only coming on when i hold the brake, it is on all the time. go figure! lol

I believe your problem is in the light panel that displays your gear info and all those other things just below the speedometer. There were more than a few of those that I have seen changed. When they go bad they can cause all sorts of seemingly unrelated problems.
