This is one of the many sore subjects that my dealer (cattrax)never fixed while my wheeler was under warranty even.

I took it to him twice (once when the carb was plugged up). First time they bled the brakes and the guy that worked on it helped me load it up and basically said that it was my fault because there was air in the brake lines.

Second time they did the patchwork overhaul thingy that he had replied to someone else's post telling them what to do.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. It can be very dangerous if you are counting on your brakes working and they don't (or you have to pump them.

He ignored what the factory rep told him to do (replace the MC) and did the "overhaul" on it.

Needless to say that lasted about a week, same results.

I finally got a brain (guess I trusted the dealer) and took it to Brookfield. They replaced the MC at no charge even after the warranty had expired.

I have noticed the 03 master cylinder is white. I assume it is different

Cat has gone back to the Willwood brake components, they were using Outlaw parts and they are junk. I hate the brakes on my 02, I have tried every thing except replacing it.

Funny they went back to the white wilwood components because my 01 500 has gone through 2 of those...one on warranty and one off. The black one on my 01 400 has worked flawlessly. Just funny.
