Just picked up my 500i last friday, how can I tell if the ball joint recall has been done?

Also I saw a post about wheels hitting a-arms and checked mine and they hit. Was a fix ever figured out for this, I'll check the alignment.

I'm getting ready to order new tires and wheels, is there an offset I could get that would correct the a-arm problem? or spacers?
