Default Automatic...or Manual?

Hey guys! I'm looking to get a AC 400 4x4. I know AC has one of the best clutch system for ATV's but what do you recommend? Does it slip? Get wet? How's the maintenance? I always have had manual ATV's, but I would prefer automatic. What do you think?

I have a 400 also. I have ridden both the manual and the automatic. The manual seems to have more punch!

Default Automatic...or Manual?

I just purchased my first ATV last weekend - AC400 Manual FIS. So far it seems like a fine machine, but thats with less than 2 hours on it. I've ridden both automatic and manuals of various brands. I've come to the opinion that if you're primarily going to sport ride, then the automatic is more fun. I'm planning to use mine primarily for hunting and like the idea of putting it in a gear and keeping it there - especially if I'm going up and down mountains with half a moose straped on it. Hopfully I'll find out next fall.

As far as price, I think the difference between the two was only $100-200 so thats not much of a consideration.
