My daughter has been riding her AC90 for allmost a year now and have not had any issues. My nephew has had his for allmost 2 with no problems except a fouled plug but just one. These quads do get ridden and not just around the yard. We have miles of trails here and they ride most every day the weather is fit. My son has a Blaster and she is always right behind him pounding the Cat. It is basicly the same as the Polaris 90 and Bomb 90 and several others out there. The Cat has a higher air intake and different exhaust. After you remove all the restrictors on the Kitty it will run around 30mph, plenty fast for a kid. neighbor has a LT80 and the Cat will out run it on our track but it could be rider as well. The Cat seems very stable and the brakes and throttle are easy for my daughter to use she is 7 now.
As far as a Deneli? I wouldn't know where to buy one let alone take it to get it fixed. I would check your dealers and if you have a good relationship with the Cat dealer get one. If you have a good relationship with one of the others then get one of those. I got the lime green Cat for $1700 out the door. No other dealer could beat it or come close. Besides that is the one she wanted.

The Suzki 80 (now thje kfx80) is in a class above the others in this size class. It was suzki's best selling atv for years. They last forever. They dont look at need as the Yamaha Raptor 80, ect. but they are the best.
"We've spend enought time with these kids ATV's over the years to know what works for youngsters. Our favorites are still the Suzuki LT80 and Honda TRX90." - atv amgazine

There was a Dirt Wheels issue where they tested all of the minis. Basically the Honda 90, Suz Lt80, Yamaha 80 were still the top of the heap. All of the others are just imported from Korea or Tawain. They just slap a badge on them (Arctic cat) for example. When my boy is old enough to start ridin by himself (he's 3), I will invest in a Honda 90. It's a little bigger, but it will run forever with kids abusing it. And it's big enough he can ride it until he's around 12 yrs old.

Hi,
I need some help with a AC90. I have one of the slow AC 90's. I removed the carb restrictor. Got little better still would only hit 17mph. I removed the exhaust (looking for a restricter ring, there was no ring) I did remove the spark arrester screen and insulation. It seem to get better (I did not clock it). I was going to do something with the air filter for air flow, but didn't have a couple hours to get the lid off. I drilled three 3/8 holes in the top of the lid. Now it has a little more speed and alot of torque. After you stop laughing about the stuff I did would be willing to tell me where the other restrictors are? My daughter is ready to junk it, her Yamaha Zinger 60 4-wheeler smokes the AC. Thank You.

Strongman,
There are restrictors in the carb and in the tranny area of the 90's. Im not exactly sure where the one in the tranny is, as I had it removed at the dealer. The carb restrictor will definitely help your quads snap and keep you from fouling a plug. But the one in the tranny is where your speed difference is going to come into play. It made a night and day difference for the little guy.
