what type of cat are you getting the diff out of and how much is it going to cost you

 

Its out of a 03 500i, its costing me zero, zip, zilch. It was one that came out of a bike that blew its external housing apart. It was a faulty housing. so im getting the inner chunk. Nothing wrong with it. The reason its free is after 90 days when warranty work is done, if AC does not call for the part to be sent back to them "which they hardly ever do" Then the shop throws them away. So i have connections at one of the largest AC dealers And my friend is giving me one that Ac did not call for.
If you remeber, Ac started building their own Diffs. and they welded the inner housing shut so when you have a problem with your new diff now or gears, they pull the whole chunk out and order y ou a new one. This cuts cost
