Default Cat front diff

Why does the diff fluid help to lock up the clutches? Is it sticky or something?

Sounds like it would be worth a few bucks too find out. Do you know what it costs?

JKB- I have 28x8x12 Mudzillas in the front with 25 psi. It really is not hard at all with the narrow tires. The only time it gets hard is if you stop, as soon as you start to move it is almost like stock. No kidding.

just got off the phone with the people at redline oil and they said that it retailed for 7.95 not bad. i am curious if any diff fluid would work that did not have the limited slip additive in it
