Been looking for a good trail/mud tire. Leaning toward itp mudlites. Any info would be appreciated. Also looking for performance mods. horsepower without major overhaul.

Outlaws are for die hard mudders only, they are extremely rough on trails. Haven't heard anything on Mud lites but they looked good on the dealers showroom the other day. Tire selection is based on what you want them to do. In general most tires are good. What do you want them to excel at, mud, trail, etc?

i'm not a serious mudder but like to play when i find it. got the original dunlops on and they aren't good for nothing. need something that is smooth on the trail but good in the mud when i find some. got 25" on now, want to put on 26". would there be much difference?

Ya your like me. I went with Gators (not installed yet). You could consider those or mudlites based on what youve said. Either tire would be 10000000000000000% better than the Dunflops. The 26 is just an inch taller tire. More ground clearance and a bit bigger tire to help pull you through when all your buds are watching

madcat17- One of the best mud/trail tires I have seen are the 589s. Good ride and they clean real good in the mud. My 2nd choice for the trail/mud would be Vampires. If you ride trails at all stay away from Outlaws, Mudzillas and EDLs.

i've got around 50 miles on my gators now and i find that thay pull like crazy in the mud thay seem to ride very good on the loging roads, i've done some trail rideing yesterday and they were great on the trails to my freind keep's telling to let some air out, he say's they will form to the trail better , but i think there good now if i let a few more lb's out thay should be amazeing.
