I will make the MArshal ride
I will be there, leaving thursday night. Don't worry about it being dry, it will be fine. If by some chance there is NO more rain between now and memorial day, they will add water to the pipeline(where the mud races are). This is the only place I know of that waters the main trails to keep it from being dusty.

It is cool that they have a watering truck, but they only hit the main road. If its dry, its not worth the trip, in my opinion, everyone has one.
Oh yea, last year the live band was so bad we ran them off, tried to anyway. I have heard plenty of local bar bands and these guys were the worst ever. I hope its a different group. It was kind of cool to ride up on the Cat and lean on the cooler and listen to a few tunes at the end of the day.

That sounded like a negative reply after reading it. The marshall ride is one of my favorites of the year. We have been for several years in a row and keep coming back. Its a cool ride.
The camping spot is a pasture. No hookups. Be early if you want a spot around the edge, a little shade, helps in the heat, especially for tents. If your bringing a tent, bring a tarp. The bigger the better. We always put one out on 6 or 7' poles or sticks and use it for a giant shade. IT REALLY HELPS. From experience, 75% wheelers there are snorkel'd for a reason. There are 3 spots I can remember that are over rack deep. 2 of them are trail crossings with no other way around. I took a Honda 450ES one year with 28"s and no snorkels and ended up drowning out only twice all weekend. That was going around everything I possibly could. Without snorkels u will miss out on the swamp. I'ts a blast. I look forward to seeing so serious Cat's there. It would be really sweet if we could all hook up and ride together. Buddy Messenger should work for those that are serious about making arrangements.
