Default blade for gravel and snow

I have a Honda Rancher and I'm looking for a blade for snow and gravel. Rear or front blade?

A rear blade would be useless for plowing snow. You'd be driving through it packing it down before the blade gets to it.

Like it says here about the Swisher plow, mine "also boasts blade-surface saving skids" and "The cutting edge is reversible and replaceable". That's nothing new. It was standard on any plow I ever considered buying, like the one I bought 20 years ago. My 52" blade was advertised as being able to plow dirt, etc., in addition to snow, but the 60" blade was supposed to be for snow only.
