i run a ESR 330 on my trik and it is very hard to keep the front down i clocked my 330 at 82MPH with 14/39 gearing on it . i aslo have a 350 on my quad, but a 380 on a trik watch out that thing should rip!

Default esr 380 motor kit

Hey guys,
I currently have a esr 310 kit on my 86 R, but think something is wrong with the carb. I have tried every main jet from 160 to 190 in my 39 pwk, but can't get any power in my midrange or topend. This thing has great low range, but no pull or powerband. It just sputters mid to highend. Any ideas??

I'm pretty sure my reeds are good, they are about 1 season old. I did only measure 11.5 volts at the lights and its suppose to be 13.5-14.5 volts. Maybe it is a stator problem, I don't know. The stator ohmed out at 115 which the book says 50-200 is good.

my neihbor has a niks 310 fully drag port on pump gas w/ 10 paddle ultra lights and can easily beat a ported banshee. When we were at florence, oregon the only thing he got beat by was like a 520 banshee up comp hill.

Right now he's putting his stock 250 jug back on that has a full drag port on alky which should pull even harder than his 310 on pump and he is going to lengthin it +10 cause right now he can't launch without the front end pulling up.

I've seen esr 370's in atc's run they will eat up most ported piped banshee's. My 86 atc with a 344 pv eats them up no prob. is the 80 hp esr is claiming on alcohol.
