Default 85 200x carb question

Kehin makes a 26mm that will it. DG makes a 27mm that will fit. Mikunis' 28mm are suposed to fit. I am trying the mikuni now actually.
To use these other carbs you need an intake off an 80-84 xr200. Newer xr200s will fit too but you have to move your airbox.

Default 85 200x carb question

teeweewuver,

DG hasn't sold a 27mm Keihin in over 5 years unless they just started carrying it again. This was the carb that everyone [including me] used to run on the X bikes. If they are indeed available again, let me know for I will be in line to get one.

The 80-84 XR intake you mentioned was discontinued by Honda in 2001. A few dealers had some lying on their shelves, but are all gone now from what i have been told.

The late model XR intake is the only one still available.........and like you said, it requires modifications to the airboot and/or airbox on most trikes due to the carb angle.
