Default Painting axles

Is it possible to paint axles? And if so what kind of paint should i use?for exaple just regular spray paint or high heat???

Default Painting axles

I painted mine Gloss black with rustolium.....it has held up darn good.........I sanded them by putting the trike on a stand and letting it idel in 1st gear and wrap sandpaper around the axle.

Default Painting axles

ok thanks,now i need some help with color,my frame is black and my plastics are yellow what color would look good for the axles,i was thinkin just black but i'm open to ideas..

I would have to say black would be to kinda show it's a cool bike, but not wild................if you paint it yellow I think it would give a "wild" impression! The yellow axle would stand out pretty good, and look cool!

I think i'm gonna go with black, yellow would suit a honda better....lol[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Boy is that an understatement [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] we have some kids around here that must have spent $30,000 us on these $500 rice burners. If I hade a 1970 chevelle and put $30,000 dollars in it, it would take those rice burners and make them cry!!!!!
