It's your call. What ever that carb came from, called for that low jet. I don't know what size your carb is and wouldnt know without measuring it.

Due to these circumstances, I can't say whether or not the 108 would harm or hurt your performance. It wouldn't damage anything though, and I think that's what you are asking.

For the low price of jets, grab a few different sizes 100-108 range along with a few sparkplugs and dedicate an evening in getting it tuned in.
